What you can learn from hikers?

  • Going up is optional, coming down is not.
  • Be conscious of your own abilities. You don‘t stop when you are tired, you stop when you are done.
  • A group is only as strong as its weakest link.  Come prepared or you‘ll be a burden on others.
  • There is no rush. Hike your hike! If you are tired, stop and rest, don‘t quit!
  • Stop.  Breathe.  Enjoy the view. It is the best part.
  • That nagging voice telling you that you cannot is lying. Box it and shelve it then…Keep going, and concentrate on putting one foot before the other.
  • Hydrate! Watch your water and electrolyte intake.
  • The greatest views are always after the hardest climbs.
  • Every once in a while stop, and look back at how far you have come!
